A subscription ticket valid nationwide also requires a national security monitoring system. Only in this way can the industry be certain that the tickets in circulation are genuine, unique and unaltered, and that the funds collected are channelled into the revenue-sharing scheme. That is why we operate the Central PV System for the Deutschland-Ticket.
Secure tickets on smartphones
Tickets with Motics NFC & Web 2 Wallet
Motics connects smartphones to the security systems of (((eTicket Deutschland and protects digital tickets against copying and tampering. Tickets can be verified via NFC or barcode. Web2Wallet also enables secure ticket distribution directly from online shops to the wallet, thereby reducing barriers to sales.

Certification
From smart cards to back-end systems and terminals: in collaboration with the testing laboratory cetecom advanced GmbH, we test all systems and applications throughout Germany for compliance with our ticketing standard.

We are a partner to the public transport sector and support transport operators and networks throughout Germany with all matters relating to digital ticketing. Free of charge. From the Deutschland-Ticket and Motics to (((etiCORE and ZPVS: our consultancy team provides support with everything from project tendering to implementation, operation and further development.

The foundation for digital ticketing in public transport
The VDV Core Application (VDV-KA) has been the standard for interoperable electronic ticketing in German public transport for many years. Version 3 of the VDV-KA will be available from 2026: (((etiCORE
(((etiCORE is coming
(((etiCORE is the next generation of the ticketing standard and the security update for the VDV core application. From 2026, (((etiCORE will be introduced in stages and will operate in parallel with the VDV core application until 2031.

You’ll find everything you need in terms of security components, certificates, test tools and test components relating to the VDV-KA in our ASM Tool. Our manufacturer packages – (((etiKIT Basic, Professional and Premium – are also available there.

Smart cards
For participants in (((eTicket Deutschland, we pool demand and regularly issue centralised tenders for system components and user media (smart cards). This enables us to secure significantly better prices for the sector than would be possible through individual tenders.
