When you visit our website, information transmitted by your browser is automatically collected. This includes, in particular:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Page accessed

This data is required to provide the website, ensure system security and optimise our service from a technical perspective. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Our website uses only technically necessary cookies. These are required to provide the website’s basic functions and to ensure it operates correctly.

Cookies are not used for marketing or profiling purposes.

Our website offers an automatic translation function via an interface with the DeepL service. When this function is used, the content of the page being viewed is transmitted to DeepL. Technical connection data (e.g. the IP address) may also be processed in the process.

This processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing content in multiple languages (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

If you contact us by email or via the customer service portal, we will process the information solely for the purpose of dealing with your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (where a specific enquiry or collaboration is involved) or Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. 

Once we have resolved your enquiry (and provided there are no statutory retention periods), we will then delete your data.

If you subscribe to one of our newsletters, we will use your email address solely for the purpose of sending you that newsletter. 

The newsletter is sent via the Brevo service (formerly Newsletter2Go). When you subscribe, your data is transferred to Brevo. Subscription is carried out using the double opt-in procedure.

The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every issue.

 

Our website contains links to external sites, such as those of our partner companies, as well as to YouTube and LinkedIn. When you visit these sites, the privacy policies of the respective providers apply. We have no control over the data processing carried out on those sites.

We will only disclose personal data if:

  • you have given your consent
  • it is necessary to fulfil a request or a contract
  • there is a legal obligation to retain the data or we have a legitimate interest in doing so
